The month of May is dedicated to spreading awareness for Lupus.
If you are not familiar with this disease, I encourage you to take a few moments to learn A little bit about it.
I am unfortunately gifted this dumb illness, and since there is no cure, I wanted to shine a little light on it.
Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs
So I am basically kicking my own ass!
